What You Will Do

• Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks
• Manage finance-related emails and assist with general inbox queries
• Process supplier invoices and post credit card transactions
• Assist with reconciliations and other routine accounting activities
• Take ownership of selected tasks previously handled by the outgoing team member, with increasing responsibility over time
• Work closely with senior team members as they step up into more complex finance responsibilities
• Support the team during month-end and other deadline-driven periods
• Use Excel regularly to maintain and update financial information
• Be flexible and proactive in assisting the team when required

What We're Looking For

• A basic understanding of accounting principles and how a finance team operates
• Comfortable supporting administrative and transactional finance tasks
• Confident using Excel and working with spreadsheets
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to help the team when needed
• Able to work to deadlines and manage tasks in a busy environment
• Eager to learn, develop new skills, and gradually take on more responsibility
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• A team player with a positive and flexible approach
• No formal accounting qualifications required
