Plant Financial Controller - part time

Gunnebo Entrance Control is seeking an experienced and business-oriented Plant Financial Controller to support and drive the financial performance of our manufacturing site. As a global leader in entrance control solutions, we enable safe and efficient people flow in public transport, retail, commercial buildings, and industrial environments worldwide.

In this role, you will act as a key financial partner to plant management, responsible for controlling, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. You will translate numbers into insights, support decision-making, and actively contribute to improving efficiency, transparency, and profitability of the plant.

This position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys being close to operations, understands manufacturing processes, and wants to have a real impact on business results.

Requirements

Manage and oversee accounting and controlling activities in line with Czech accounting standards; support IFRS reporting where applicable

Be responsible for fixed assets and R&D reporting, including preparation of regular reports, forecasts, and inputs for monthly and annual financial closings

Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, cost reports, KPIs, and variance analyses for the plant

Create ad hoc cost analyses and performance insights to support management decision-making

Actively work with financial data in Excel at an advanced level, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and meaningful outputs

Cooperate closely with the Accounting department on financial closings, preparation of documentation, and updates of internal policies and guidelines

Participate in cross-functional projects across the company, contributing financial expertise and business perspective

Work independently and efficiently during closing periods, with flexibility to work remotely when needed

Take part in regular R&D reporting to the Group, including independent representation in meetings and reporting calls

Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, with local and international stakeholders
