About The Role:
Working closely with our Construction Manager and Services Manager, and as part of a wider dedicated development team; this role's primary purpose is to support with the project coordination of the services component (e.g. plumbing, electrical, mechanical) within our large-scale data centre builds, based in Brooklyn. Coordinating from initiation through to planning and delivery - this role is integral in ensuring that the project remains well-organised, delivered within timelines, and that all parties (internally and externally) are aligned each step of the way. Combining strong elements of stakeholder engagement, with detailed reporting, and on-site inspections; this position oversees services coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support with data centre services projects – coordinating the implementation of critical infrastructure (e.g. electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and technical services.
- Coordinate and participate in site inspections, reporting on defects, progress, and risk.
- Prepare, maintain, and update project documentation (e.g. Scope of Works and programming) in Aconex and SharePoint.
- Support with weekly reporting, project commissioning plans, and functional testing.
- Build relationships and communication loops with key project stakeholders (i.e. customers, tradespeople, contractors), attending regular site meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Confidentiality and Health and Safety Policies.

About You:
This role is suited to an individual possessing a dedicated background within construction or services project coordination, or previous exposure within project engineering within large-scale developments. Additionally, candidates that are experienced within senior trades, in conjunction with project management exposure, are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, combined with a people-centric approach, given the high levels of stakeholder coordination required. We are searching for an individual that is naturally curious, eager to continue to learn, and tech savvy in nature (to pick up the various platforms our team utilise). - Services or construction project coordination exposure, ideally within critical infrastructure or within a large-scale/complex setting (e.g. hospitals, pharmaceuticals).
- Previous qualifications and/or experience within Electrical or HVAC.
- Highly developed rapport-building skills, engaging with stakeholders of various seniority levels.
- Systems savvy - previous exposure to ACONEX or PROCORE is beneficial.
- Commercially minded with a foundational understanding of cost controls and purchasing.
- Adjusted to working at pace, and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction or Project Management are preferred, but not essential.
Australian Citizenship is essential - with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
