Network Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure
This position is responsible for maintaining the stability and performance of voice and data networks across FirstCash Enterprise and American First Finance. The role involves designing, configuring, and deploying LANs, WLANs, WANs, and VPNs to support business operations.Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN).
- Monitor, analyze, and enhance network performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and define network requirements.
- Support the rollout of new technologies and assist with capacity planning.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and stay informed on industry developments.
- Troubleshoot and support store connectivity issues.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth integration of network systems.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; minimum 7 years in IT/networking.
- Proven expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN design, network security, and capacity planning.
- Experience working in PCI-DSS compliant environments.
- Required: Proficiency in BIG-IP LTM, ASM, GTM/DNS.
- Preferred: Experience with BIG-IQ, Cisco iOS/Nexus OS, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP, NTP).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus.
