Associate Staff Engineer (SAP IS-U Functional)

Job Description

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 6–7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP IS-U Functional Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of utility industry processes, including Electricity, Water, and Gas.
• Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP IS-U implementation project.
• Solid understanding of SAP IS-U core modules, FICA processes, billing schemas, rate configuration, and master data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, support, and enhancement of SAP IS-U solutions across core utility modules.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and design efficient end-to-end utility business processes.
• Configure and customize SAP IS-U modules to support Electricity, Water, and Gas utility operations.
• Support full lifecycle SAP IS-U implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Configure and support billing schemas, rate structures, master data, and FICA processes.
• Perform functional analysis, impact assessments, and provide solution recommendations.
• Support system testing activities such as unit testing, SIT, and UAT, and assist with issue resolution.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and solution delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
