Job Description

The Process Mining Consultant is responsible for converting event data into actionable business insights. This role leads end-to-end process mining initiatives on Level 4 processes, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to client teams. The consultant works closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze “As-Is” processes, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven process optimization using ARIS Process Mining.
                              

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of Process Mining initiatives, transforming raw event data into meaningful business intelligence using ARIS Process Mining.
• Collaborate with client process owners and stakeholders to identify, extract, and validate required event logs and data sources.
• Perform data preparation activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and structuring of datasets to ensure they are mining-ready.
• Conduct Process Discovery and Conformance Checking, comparing actual “As-Is” execution against designed “To-Be” process models to identify deviations and compliance gaps.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fishbone to identify drivers of bottlenecks, rework, loops, and inefficiencies.
• Define, configure, and monitor process KPIs and dimensions (e.g., Quality, Speed, Cost, Compliance, Innovation) to assess process performance.
• Design, build, and customize ARIS Process Mining dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for business and leadership stakeholders.
• Measure and compare “As-Is” vs. “To-Be” KPIs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and enablement of client teams on process mining concepts, tools, and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Process Mining, Business Process Management (BPM), or Process Optimization roles.
• Hands-on experience with ARIS Process Mining (or similar tools is a plus).
• Strong understanding of event data structures, data modeling, and process analytics.
• Experience with process analysis, KPI definition, and performance measurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
