Position Summary:
As our Jack in the Box Team Member you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately taking and preparing orders, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment. Key duties include greeting guests, operating the cash register, handling food and drink preparation, and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of all orders. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for most of a shift and lift 15–25 lbs, while qualifications often include being at least 16 years old and having a flexible schedule.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Customer service: Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and ensure they have a positive experience.
- Order accuracy: Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to enter orders, assemble the order correctly, and deliver it to guests in a timely manner.
- Food preparation: Prepare and store food and beverages according to restaurant standards and food safety guidelines.
- Restaurant maintenance: Keep the restaurant, including the dining area, drive-thru, and equipment, clean and well-stocked.
- Teamwork: Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
- Internal Promote: Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Team Leader or 1 year of experience as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; must be 100% certified in all workstations.
- External Recruit: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant manager in a hospitality or customer service environment with some P&L responsibility.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- At least 16 years old
- Complete Jack in the Box Restaurant Manager training classes;

Food Handler Certified.
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English (and fluency in Spanish is preferred);

Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
- Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, depending on the restaurant's needs.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift;
- Lift and carry 10-50 lbs
- Move without restrictions throughout the restaurant;
- Operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle.

Requirements:
