Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented IS&T Data Analytics Consultant to join our consulting team in downtown New York City, with the primary objective of:

  • Scope out Data Analytics projects (designing user stories) & new data requests as needed in coordination with the Central & Local IS&T teams and local business teams.
  • Act as a Project coordinator in collaboration with business department leads, including the client Data Analytics team, to manage the creation and forward movement of new data requests (via JIRA) into our GCP data platform, with support from the Central IS&T teams.
  • Manage and maintain the project timelines created for analytics projects in partnership with the client D&AI team
  • Monitor the data quality of the GCP data platform and coordinate with Central Data teams & AMS teams for the resolution of issues
  • Supporting user acceptance testing of the Commercial reporting tool (NEMO)

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key point of contact for business teams in relation to Analytics for new requests and building out user stories, data quality, and Commercial reporting Applications
  • General understanding & usage of GCP -BigQuery and Microsoft SQL servers, creating queries to pull & analyze data
  • Strong knowledge of data quality to create a more reliable, trusted data platform in partnership with Central IS&T teams.
  • Work with business teams to understand their data analytics needs and review whether the data is available in the GCP data platform. If not, create & track JIRA tickets through their development lifecycle.
  • Working with business users to test new deployments of clients' applications and their impact on the NEMO commercial reporting platform.
  • Represent the client in the global community (Central and other zones) and ensure client initiatives align with the global strategic direction.
  • Maintain the overall project plan for the assigned business project request.;
  • Work in conjunction with their Manager and key users to define project scope and requirements;
  • Coordinate/follow-up on project tasks across business users, IS&T, and Central IS&T in France;
  • Participate in functional and integration testing;

Qualifications

  • Career or bachelor's degree in IT, systems or related field
  • 3-5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in IS&T 
  • Proven success as project manager or business analyst; demonstrates ability to understand and anticipate business needs
  • Experience in the Retail Industry preferred
  • Knowledge of analytics tool architectures, functions, and features
  • Prior hands-on development experience with or exposure to Analytics tools and applications:
  • Power BI

  • Experience in organizing and effectively prioritizing AMS support teams to support on-time ticket resolution and problem management
  • Capable of synthesizing status updates and reporting accurately and on time

Additional Information

  • Full-Time CONTRACT TO HIRE (6 months) after this - internal employee of the client
