ECS is seeking a TS-cleared Senior Systems Engineer to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in Washington, DC.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their application related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner. This position performs activities associated with the implementation, integration, operations and support of computer systems in a mission-critical response operations environment.
- Monitor systems performance in a production environment.
- Plan, engineer, and sustain systems infrastructure; implement and design hardware and software.
- Acquire, install, test, and implement systems components.
- Ensure appropriate hardware and/or software meets functional and operational requirements.
- Evaluate current systems for effectiveness; recommend systems scalability systems and troubleshoot issues for continuous integration/continuous deployments using Centos and Linux.
- Assist in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $205,000

Qualifications- US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience
- Possess AWS Developer-Associate or AWS DevOps Engineer-Professional.
- Monitor systems performance in a production environment.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to ensure that current and/or new systems meet functional and operational requirements.
- Plan, engineer, implement, and document system infrastructure based on the established requirements.
- Perform O&M related task in a production environment. This can include but is not limited to work surrounding system monitoring and alerting, continuity of operations and disaster recovery, technical troubleshooting, and provisioning of environments.
