Position Description:
The Sr. Network Engineer is part of a team that is responsible for the overall coordination and control of core and client network services. The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for delivering network services to our clients and implementing new technologies within our network environment to improve overall stability, security and throughput for our customers.
Day-To Day-Duties And Responsibilities:
- Core Infrastructure: Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Data Center (Nexus) and Campus infrastructure.
- Security & Edge: Configure and maintain Cisco FirePower and FortiGate Firewalls. Manage Fortinet SD-WAN policies for branch connectivity.
- Application Delivery: Administer F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers to ensure application uptime and performance.
- Cloud & DR: Manage Azure network infrastructure (ExpressRoute, VNets). Plan and execute Azure Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises to ensure business continuity.
- Access Control: Maintain Cisco ISE for secure network access and endpoint compliance.
- Wireless: Manage Meraki wireless environment for office and branch locations.
- Automation: Create and maintain network automation using Python or Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
- Observability: Proactively monitor network health using SolarWinds and native cloud tools.
- Documentation: Maintain single-source-of-truth inventory and detailed technical diagrams.

It’s an important role that covers many skills. This position requires:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer working in a complex enterprise environment.
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated expertise with Cisco Data Center, F5, and Fortinet stacks.
