Job Summary:
Detail-oriented and collaborative tax manager responsible for preparing and reviewing the global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740. This role ensures timely and accurate reporting of income tax-related financial information and supports compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements. The tax manager is also responsible for assisting with the preparation of income tax returns.
- Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including non-GAAP provisions.
- Improve provision process and drive automation of workflows, enhance Excel workpapers.
- Maintain and reconcile income tax accounts, tax payable proof, and deferred tax assets and liabilities.
- Review non-US income tax provisions prepared by regional teams or external advisors.
- Analyze financial statements and supporting schedules to assess their impact on the tax provision and identify key tax drivers.
- Prepare calculations and documentation for significant tax adjustments, including share-based compensation (ASC 718/FAS 123R), uncertain tax positions (ASC 740-10/FIN 48), and purchase accounting.
- Assist with tax return preparation, including review of book-tax differences and provision-to-return reconciliations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Stay current on tax law and accounting standard changes and assess their impact on the tax provision.
- Prepare documentation to ensure SOX compliance with internal controls.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to deliver an accurate and timely income tax provision within a tight close timeline.
- Knowledge of U.S. income tax laws and U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 740.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong collaboration, communication and detail orientation skills.
Work Environment:
Office Environment.
- May require occasional travel for training.
Experience:
- 7+ years in Finance/Tax with a minimum 4 years of corporate tax experience, with a focus on income tax provision.
- Experience in a public accounting firm or large corporate tax department preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $132,817.00 and $177,089.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
