Production Engineer

We are seeking a young, energetic candidate with hands-on experience in HVAC duct fabrication and accessories. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of managing production activities within a ducting factory, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers and lead a team. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and their practical implementation in factory operations is essential.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HVAC duct fabrication and related accessories.
• Strong knowledge of production management in a ducting manufacturing environment.
• Ability to coordinate with customers, understand requirements, and ensure timely delivery.
• Skilled in team handling, supervision, and workforce allocation.
• Energetic, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and implementation (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, process improvement, etc.).
• Responsible for plant operations and personnel activities for production output.
• Responsible to ensure production as per customer specifications.
• Responsible for on time delivery of products.
• Responsible to ensure inventory stock.
• Responsible for equipment maintenance.
• Responsible for quality control checks.
• Responsible for implementation of production line methods.
• Responsible to ensure adequate manpower to avoid hindrance to production.
• Responsible to manage human resources at floor level.
• Plan, direct, regulate and coordinate functions at the shop floor. 
• Do quality checks to ensure manufacturing of products in accordance with cost, quality and quantity specifications.
• Do material and manpower planning.
• Supervise work activities to ensure personnel are working properly and safely. 
• To feed data in computer for plasma cutting with QC checks. 
• Communicate with customer for deviation/clarification if any. 
• Maintain tag list and production documents.
