Job vacancy: Finance & Risk Analyst

Your responsibility will be to support the Finance and Risk Manager in ensuring sound financial management, risk monitoring, and compliance within the organization. The Finance & Risk Analyst will assist in the preparation of financial reports, risk assessments, and internal controls, contributing to the overall financial health and risk resilience of the company.

In this role you will,        

Finance:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes;
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards;
• Perform daily bank reconciliations, reconcile accounts and variance analyses, and assist in audit preparation;
• Maintain financial records and documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards; 

Risk:

• Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial and operational risks;
• Support the implementation and maintenance of risk management frameworks and controls;
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for management review;
• Monitor compliance with internal risk policies and external regulatory requirements;
• Participate in risk reviews and contribute to mitigation strategies;

Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and recommend improvements;
• Support internal and external audit processes and addressing findings;
• Assist in implementing and monitoring the company’s AML/CFT framework, including transaction monitoring, screening, and reporting of suspicious activities;
• Maintain documentation for compliance and risk-related activities. 

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with other departments/business units to gather data and ensure financial and risk-related accuracy;
• Report findings and insights to the Finance and Risk Manager;
• Contribute to projects and initiatives aimed at improving financial and risk operations.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or any related field;
• 2 to 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or risk-related roles – preferably within  financial services such as banking or factoring;
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and risk management principles shall be an advantage;
• Good analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
