Job Description
AFFCO Rangiuru currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Food Safety & Compliance Manager to join our site leadership team based in the Bay of Plenty.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position provides specialist technical support to the AFFCO Rangiuru site while coordinating the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of food safety, quality, and regulatory systems. The Food Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the site adheres to programmes such as HACCP, RMPs, and supporting quality systems, and that the plant consistently meets MPI and overseas market access requirements. You will also lead and develop the site‑based Compliance Team.
With an organised and systematic approach to your work, you will provide clear technical guidance, manage audits and product/environment testing programmes, and liaise with managers and supervisors to strengthen compliance across operations.

Qualifications
A tertiary qualification or relevant work experience is essential for this role, however full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Previous experience in the meat industry is preferred, but not essential. Applicants for this position must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
