Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour
Position Summary Description:
Performs all duties related to maintaining accurate inventory counts on a perpetual cycle, to include physical inventory, inventory adjustments, reporting, physical resolution, and control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares for and conducts inventory maintenance of current stock on a weekly basis.
2. Provides comprehensive weekly reports of adjustments, category adjustments, and damages.
3. Compiles data from inventory system and selects targeted inventory items for scheduled cycle counting.
4. Ensures proper identification of inventoried items such as product code, pack/size, UPC, and slot location.
5. Remedies stock and location discrepancies as necessary.
6. Identifies and updates inventory adjustments and location adjustments in the computer system.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complies with HAACP Plan guidelines and protocols. Displays GMP including receiving, storing, and presentation of products.
2. Protects and develops the company’s brands via PR activities and intellectual property management.
3. Provides exceptional customer service and ensures that employees also provide the same level of service.
Qualifications:
Education/Training and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum two years of distribution or warehouse experience. Foodservice experience highly preferred.
Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
