Job Descritpion
- Release of raw materials, fragrances/flavors, packaging, in‑process materials, and finished products according to specifications.
- Support the Implementation and Development teams with formula adjustments, stability testing, and preparation of samples for consumer testing.
- New product implementation and reporting of issues and improvements to the Implementation and Development teams.
- Plant trials for new formulas, materials, packaging, and processes (Experimental Manufacturing Order, EMO).
- Approval of final packaging artwork.
- Monitor and implement process improvements based on statistical control.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the plant and laboratories.
- Implement and maintain Global Quality Standards, and support standards from other programs such as Safety, Environment, and Productivity.
- Conduct internal Quality audits and support external audits. Develop action plans to meet requirements.
- Provide technical support for products manufactured domestically and for export.
- Certification of suppliers of raw materials, packaging materials, and third‑party manufacturers.
- Implement and monitor the nonconformance system to ensure correct root cause identification and the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Release of finished products in accordance with specifications.
- Provide support to Operations, Engineering, Packaging, Procurement, Marketing, Sales/Trade Marketing, and Services teams.
- Analyze and monitor consumer complaints.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost‑reduction projects.
- Technology transfer between global teams and plant operations.
- Equipment validation in partnership with Engineering and Operations teams.
- Develop and manage Quality‑specific training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Microbiology
- Proven experience in GMP manufacturing facilities and quality management
- Proven experience in people management
