The Employee Services HR Compliance & Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting global onboarding, compliance, and HR system operations. This role ensures accurate employee data, smooth onboarding experiences, and compliance with HR vendors. This role also provides day to day system and vendor support while partnering closely with other HR teams and escalating technical needs to HRIT. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively across HR functions, has strong attention to detail, and is motivated by improving processes that enhance compliance and employee experience.

As an Employee Services HR Compliance and System Administrator, essential duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Oversee day to day onboarding compliance globally, ensuring new hire documentation and forms are complete and accurate.
  • Manage U.S. I-9 compliance, including audits, reverifications, and reporting.
  • Coordinate background check processes for the U.S. and Costa Rica; act as the primary contact with the background check vendor to troubleshoot issues or escalate as needed.
  • Partner with regional HR teams to ensure onboarding processes align with local compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR system workflows and documentation consistency across regions.
  • Provide day to day operational support for HR system including but limited to data corrections, system questions, troubleshooting issues and escalation when needed.
  • Support testing and validation during system enhancements, upgrades, and releases in partnership with HRIT
  • Monitor data quality, run audits, and correct data discrepancies to maintain integrity across HR systems.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Stakeholders to gather feedback and help implement process or system improvements.
  • Manage day to day interactions and requests with third-party vendors. 
  • Track issue resolution, communicate updates, and escalate complex problems when necessary.

Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and process guides for system and compliance activities.

  • 4+ years of experience in HR operations, employee services, or HR systems administration.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and comfort working with HR technology platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms.
  • High attention to detail, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
