The Role
Help translate complex scientific and global health topics into clear, accurate, visual stories for posters, congress presentations, and manuscripts. As part of our global Design team, you will focus on precision, consistency, and compliance, ensuring all scientific materials meet client branding and regulatory standards. You will manage multiple projects efficiently, collaborate closely with colleagues across design, writing and commercial teams, and play a key role in QC processes to maintain accuracy and elevate overall output. You will also contribute to workflow improvements, templates, and best practices that support high-quality, error-free deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and format scientific posters and figures and tables for congress presentations and manuscripts
- Apply client branding guidelines and ensure compliance with industry and publication standards
- Conduct QC reviews of layouts and figures created by other team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with medical writers and project managers to confirm scientific integrity and layout requirements
- Maintain version control and organize files for multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
What You’Ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field (experience in life sciences or medical communications preferred)
- 2–3 years of experience in layout design for scientific or technical content
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including advanced efficiency in InDesign and Illustrator, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of scientific data presentation (charts, graphs, tables)
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage QC processes
- Familiarity with working within medical congress guidelines and journal submission requirements
- Scientific poster experience is mandatory. Candidates without this experience will not be considered, and our interview process will include an assessment of your skills on this deliverable
