And we’re just getting started. With new spirits on the horizon, new channels to explore and new markets to enter, we’re growing fast — and we’re looking for a talented Mid-weight Graphic Designer to join us for the next exciting chapter.
With the roll-out of a brand-new identity around the corner, this is a rare opportunity to make a real impact and help define how Craft Gin Club shows up across every touchpoint, from packaging and print to digital and photoshoots.
THE TEAM
This roles reports into our Chief Brand Officer, and sits within the Brand team, a part of the wider Sales & Marketing function alongside our Acquisition, Website, Customer Marketing and Commerce teams
The Brand team is responsible for driving our brand metrics up and producing all collateral across our business, including advertising, on-site visual assets, photography, and our monthly print magazines and drinks guides.
You’ll collaborate closely with our editorial team and across the other Sales & Marketing teams, as well as with other teams across the business, including our Commercial and Product Development teams. You will also oversee our use of external artworkers, and partner with agencies when required.
About The Role
This role is ideal for a mid-weight designer ready to take ownership of projects while still growing and developing their craft.
We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven designer with experience across print, packaging, digital, and an eye for beautiful, effective brand storytelling. This is a hands-on role working across a wide variety of projects, while also managing additional freelance or agency designers as needed.
Your work will play a key role in driving brand love, customer acquisition and retention, shaping everything from the look and feel of our subscription boxes to campaign visuals, photography, and digital assets.
What You’Ll Be Doing
Print & Editorial Design:
- Layout and design of our monthly print magazine
- Print inserts and other physical collateral included in subscription boxes
- Retail point-of-sale and trade materials
Packaging & Label Design:
- Designing bottle labels, gift packaging, limited-edition product ranges, and other packaging formats
- Working closely with the Product Development team to translate concepts into print-ready artwork
- Ensuring all packaging aligns with brand guidelines, production requirements, and regulatory standards
Digital Brand Assets:
- Designing static digital ads, paid social assets, email templates, and CRM visuals
- Creating clean, consistent on-brand assets for the website and landing pages
Photoshoot Creative Support:
- Helping develop moodboards, visual references, and creative elements for monthly photoshoots
- Supporting on-set where needed to help ensure visual consistency and creative direction
Owning The Internal Design Function:
- Acting as the guardian of our new brand identity
- Scoping, briefing, and managing external artworkers, illustrators, or specialists when needed
- Reviewing external work, ensuring quality and consistency before delivery
- Managing workflows, timelines, and priorities across multiple teams
- Supporting campaign concept development with the wider brand & creative team
Requirements
- Mid-weight graphic design experience, ideally with strong exposure to FMCG, D2C or lifestyle brands.
- A portfolio that demonstrates excellent, print, digital, packaging and brand design.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
- Understanding of print processes, packaging specifications and production artwork.
- Strong typography, layout and brand identity skills.
- Confident working as the primary in-house designer — from planning to final production.
- Comfortable briefing, managing and providing feedback to external creative resources.
- Highly organised, with the ability to move between projects and maintain quality under tight deadlines.
- A collaborative, proactive approach — someone who enjoys shaping ideas and solving creative challenges.
