The Team:

The Communications department at Forbion is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the communication, branding and marketing efforts of both Forbion and its portfolio companies. 

Working closely with leaders from our portfolio companies, the Communications team support the development of strategic messaging, managing internal and external communications, and driving brand development. By working closely with various stakeholders, including the media outlets and industry partners, the Communications team ensures that Forbion's voice is consistently represented across all platforms.

The department also plays a key role in promoting thought leadership, managing public relations and maintaining an active social media presence, all while ensuring brand consistency and visibility in the life sciences sector.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Portfolio Communications

• Liaise with Forbion portfolio companies to amplify their updates on financings, HR and clinical milestones
• Collaborate with the Head of Communications to create and distribute communication materials about Forbion, e.g. using the Forbion Portfolio Platform

Investor Communications

• Liaise closely with the IR team to ensure homogenous messaging and branding throughout all communications materials including pitch decks, compliance submissions and the annual Forbion Impact and ESG report
• Ensure all communications to Limited Partners (LPs) are meiculously reviewed for grammar, clarity and proper formatting prior to distribution

Event Management Support

• Provide communication and logistical support for Forbion-hosted events, including the Annual Investor Meeting, roundtables which take place throughout the year and the sponsored networking events, ensuring seamless attendee experiences and brand alignment
• Support content creation for event materials, including invitations, agendas, presentations and post-event recaps both internally and externally
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to manage event logistics, registrations and coordination

Media Relations

• Assist in further building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts to help elevate Forbion's and its portfolio companies' visibility in tier one and trade media
• Support the drafting of press releases, media advisories and other communication materials

What Makes You a Great Fit?

Experienced: You will have proven experience (4+ years) in marketing and communications, preferably in the life sciences or venture capital sectors

Education: Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing Public Relations or a related field

Communication: Proficient English language skills, both in a written and verbal capacity

Collaborative & Reliable: You can work independently and as part of a team, and are willing to step in for colleagues to ensure continuity.
