Business Development Manager - AI Driven

Job Summary:

As the AI Business Development Manager, you will be a key leader in pioneering PTC's AI frontier within the China market. Your mission is to deeply understand the digital needs of manufacturing clients, integrate PTC's globally leading AI technology and platform capabilities with local Large Language Model and AI Agent ecosystems, create industry-disruptive application scenarios and solutions, drive their commercial implementation, and establish PTC's absolute leadership in the "AI + Manufacturing" field.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Market Shaping:

Research global and China-specific trends in LLM and AI Agent technologies, especially their application potential in manufacturing (e.g., R&D, production, supply chain, operations).

Analyze pain points in the digital transformation of China's manufacturing sector, precisely identifying business scenarios where LLMs and AI Agents can deliver core value.

Develop a localized implementation roadmap that integrates PTC's global AI strategy with the characteristics of the local market, data environment, and customer needs.

Solution Design & Scenario Innovation: Lead the design of integrated solutions that deeply combine PTC products (e.g., Creo, Windchill) with local LLM/AI Agent technologies. Focus on creating benchmark application scenarios, such as an Intelligent Engineering Design Assistant or Change Impact Analysis Assistant.

Business Development & Ecosystem Building:

Be responsible for building the new AI business line from the ground up, developing sales strategies and Go-To-Market plans, and achieving sales targets.

Identify and establish strategic partnerships with leading domestic cloud providers, LLM companies, and AI Agent startups to build a strong local AI ecosystem.

Collaborate closely with sales, presales, and technical teams to drive the POC and implementation of customized AI Agent solutions.

Internal Enablement & Market Influence:

Act as an internal AI expert, providing training and enablement to sales, marketing, and product teams.

Represent PTC by speaking at industry summits and forums, disseminating PTC's thought leadership and success stories in "AI + Manufacturing" to enhance brand influence.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Automation, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in AI solutioning, business development, or strategic partnerships.

Ai Technical Depth:

LLM Proficiency: Solid understanding of the principles, fine-tuning, and application of large language models (e.g., Transformer, GPT, LLaMA).

AI Agent Expertise: Familiarity with core AI Agent concepts like architecture (e.g., ReAct, CoT), tool use, memory mechanisms, multi-agent collaboration, with practical project experience.

Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of related engineering techniques like RAG, vector databases, model distillation, and prompt engineering.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing business processes and digital challenges. Familiarity with PLM, ALM, or similar systems is a plus.

Business-Technology Acumen: Strong business sense, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions and business cases.

Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with client executives, technical experts, partners, and other stakeholders, possessing strong influencing and driving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a leading cloud provider or AI company.

A proven track record of successfully commercializing LLM or AI Agent projects in the industrial sector.

Basic programming skills (e.g., Python), enabling technical prototype demonstrations or in-depth, code-level discussions with technical teams.
