QA Engineer ( With Development Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing tech hub in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience and will support the creation of our Industrial Internet of Things solution.A key requirement for this role is experience in automation of both UI and APIs to reduce regression test cycle times.

Key Responsibilities

•  Test web and mobile platforms across client/server environments and multiple devices. 
•  Review SRS documents and process models. 
•  Participate in Specifications Review, Test Planning, Creation and Execution of Test Cases, Defect Reporting, and Defect Verification. 
•  Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support delivery. 
•  Apply different testing types: Functional, Integration, System, Compatibility, Regression, Smoke/Sanity, and Ad-hoc Testing. 
•  Use bug reporting and tracking tools such as TFS/Jira. 
•  Write SQL queries and use query tools for validation and data testing.

Requirements

•  Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering 
•  4-5 years of full system development lifecycle experience 
•  Experience in QA/Test strategy, defect lifecycle, and release management 
•  Industry experience testing Web and mobile-based applications 
•  Familiarity with automation tools: 
•  Postman (API testing) 
•  Selenium (UI testing)
