Job Description
The adventure begins here
Our Brisbane studio has grown significantly, recently releasing Carmen Sandiego and working on exciting new PC-console projects with major IPs. To support this growth, we’re looking for a skilled recruiter to be on-site, closely partnering with studio leadership to find the right talent for our creative teams.
Gameplay in action: your role
- Handle end-to-end recruitment, ensuring smooth hiring processes from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Collaborate closely with the Studio Manager and Directors to understand hiring needs.
- Use LinkedIn with a focus on sourcing to actively build pipelines and engage top talent.
- Work with Smart Recruiters and Workday for applicant tracking and hiring management.
- Where agreed by the Brisbane HR Manager and Global Talent Manager, support the recruitment needs of other studios while ensuring that Brisbane needs remain a priority
- Manage external recruitment partnerships with key stakeholders (e.g. Screen Queensland, IGEA, etc.) including participation and coordination of events related to building our talent pipeline (ex. school studio visits).
- Ensure a smooth transition for successful candidates by owning the offer to on seat process including conducting Day 1 Onboarding for new hires
- Be the focal point for all immigration activities including supporting international hires through the relocation process, coordinating the necessary immigration documentation with Tech Visa, our Immigration External Vendor, and ensuring that all employees with Gameloft Sponsored visas continue to remain eligible to work in Australia
- Where relevant, occasionally contribute to local and global HR projects
Level up: 3/6/12 months milestones
- 3 months: Build strong pipelines and make key hires while learning studio needs.
- 6 months: Support steady recruitment as hiring ramps up in 2026.
- 12 months: Participate in international recruitment projects or Diversity & Inclusion initiatives like training managers.
The team you’ll join
Join a collaborative HR team including an HR Administrator & Payroll Specialist and HR Learning & Development Specialist, led by the HR Manager. The team is supportive and ready to help when needed.

You’re skilled in end-to-end recruitment with a strong sourcing focus, ideally familiar with the gaming industry or genuinely interested in it. You communicate clearly, collaborate openly, and proactively solve problems. You embody an inclusive and professional approach in all interactions.

- Managing multiple roles and time organization: Ability to juggle several openings efficiently without losing focus while ensuring timely management of immigration and education related events.
- Adaptability: Comfortable adjusting to changing priorities in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Team-player: You collaborate effectively and provide support to peers whenever required.
- Stakeholder management: Proactively working with the Studio Manager, Directors, HR Manager, and other teams to understand and meet recruitment needs.
