• Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
• Location: Melbourne (Hybrid 3 days a week in the office)

What You'Ll Actually Do:

• Build the Foundation: You’re responsible for building and maintaining the development tools, infrastructure, and secure environments that deliver a stable and enjoyable experience for PaperCut’s customers.
• Guardian of Reliability: You’ll ensure the performance, uptime, and scale of our products. You’ll own the production monitoring and observability tools to maintain high standards of code and thoughtful solution design.
• Champion of Automation: You won't just follow the process; you'll improve it. You will identify solutions to reduce technical debt, improve team efficiency, and automate development and release processes.
• Collaborate on Quality: As part of the broader Product Development team, you’ll work cross-functionally to review code, facilitate knowledge sharing, and maintain consistent design and performance standards across our products.

What you bring to the table:

• Cloud & Hosted Infrastructure: You have experience in DevOps within cloud environments and SaaS Products, specifically maintaining and optimising the configuration of servers and platforms that provide hosted services.
• DevOps & Coding Mastery: You have the ability to take a user story and craft it into high-quality code, while maintaining and optimising the configuration of servers and platforms that provide our hosted services.
• Cool Under Pressure: When things go wrong, you promptly and effectively respond to software issues. You are skilled at identifying root causes, devising solutions, and communicating progress to key stakeholders.
• Automation Architecture: You have experience building and implementing automation frameworks and strategies to ensure high-quality, functioning products.
• A Growth Mindset: You are flexible, curious, and open to new ideas. You advocate for continuous improvement based on customer needs and anticipate the impact of delivery on others.
