Position Overview:

A strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the Divisional IT project portfolio, managing a team of project managers, and ensuring successful delivery of critical initiatives. This hands-on role requires a dynamic leader who can orchestrate multiple workstreams while maintaining a strong focus on execution and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex technology programs across multiple platforms, ensuring successful delivery and implementation
• Drive governance and oversight of the project portfolio, including strategic initiatives like Core Banking and Custody platform evaluations 
• Oversee project initiation processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance standards 
• Manage RFP processes for banking systems, ensuring thorough vendor evaluation and selection 
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards 
• Represent projects at the Portfolio Board, providing status updates and strategic insights 
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with IT Leadership, Development teams, Business stakeholders, and Divisional Management Team 
• Lead high priority initiatives, providing hands-on management when required

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of project/program management experience in financial services IT 
• Proven track record of leading complex banking technology implementations 
• Strong understanding of banking operations and systems 
• Experience managing and developing project management teams 
• Professional certification in project management  
• Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication 
• Deep knowledge of project governance frameworks and best practices
