Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity

Join a leading infrastructure delivery team driving the future of Queensland’s water network. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex capital water infrastructure major water pipeline projects as part of the Unity Water Program across the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast Region

• Manage, coordinate and deliver a complex range of small and large projects, including design, construction, commissioning and handover of infrastructure and assets
• Manage and drive a culture of innovation in project delivery that results in delivery of ongoing efficiencies and improvements in project work practices
• Manage and administer subcontracts
• Manage, coordinate, and maintain good working relationships with sub-contractors to effectively and efficiently deliver projects
• Manage and maintain good working relationships with a range of stakeholders during the delivery of projects
• Deliver projects so that they comply with and meet expectations from clients, communities, environmental management requirements and other legislative requirements
• Undertake reporting on program performance and progress, including development of solutions to issues that compromise attainment of agreed performance targets
• Actively participate in monthly Project Management Reviews (PMRs)

What we are looking for 

• Minimum 10 years of complex project management experience within the water and wastewater sector is preferred 
• Experience in large scale design and construct treatment plant construction and upgrade works and large-scale water transfer projects involving micro-tunnelling and deep shafts.
• Previous team management and leadership experience 
• Extensive experience driving results
