The Valve Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting valve components in accordance with work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role ensures that all valve products are produced efficiently, accurately, and meet company and customer specifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly of valve components (metal, plastic, or mechanical) using hand tools, fixtures, or assembly machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Read and follow assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure correct part fitting and torque requirements.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate test equipment to perform pressure, leak, or functionality tests as required.
  • Handle components and materials with care to avoid damage or contamination.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with 5S and EHS standards.
  • Record daily production data, inspection results, and any non-conformances in log sheets or system.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality issues to the Supervisor or Engineer immediately.
  • Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives in the assembly area.
  • Adhere strictly to company quality, safety, and operational policies at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM / Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in mechanical or precision component assembly (preferably in semiconductor, valve, or equipment manufacturing industry).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical tools, torque specifications, and assembly methods.
  • Able to read simple technical drawings or assembly diagrams
