MACHINE OPERATOR

Responsibilities:

Pre Make Ready:

- Prepares next job according to Factory job ticket and MPCC.

Start Up:

• Pours the right ink prepared by the ink section.
• Compares prints with cromaline or approved samples.
• Provides quality control with samples.

Job Settings:

- Sets his machine parameter according to MPCC.

Job Production:

• Fills production reports.
• Follows up printing process around the clock, and check for impression, registration and ink properties.
• Operates properly his machine.
• Tries to propose methods to improve his machine, to the team leader.

Product Realization:

• Troubleshoots any problem, and report to the team leader major ones.
• Makes sure that his machine and the premises are clean at all time.

Health And Safety:

• Become familiar with the health and safety procedures and instructions of his/her function(s) of work.
• Follow NAPCO-IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labour rules and legislation.
• Contribute in the different OH&S activities, and attend safety meetings as required.
• Attend all training offered by the company.
• Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions or acts to his/her direct supervisor, or to the camp boss in case they are related to the accommodation.
• Immediately correct unsafe conditions, if safe to do so and where possible.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are in place before start any work.
• Refuse to perform work when unsafe conditions exist.
• Report all incidents and near misses to their supervisor
• Use the provided PPE safety equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment and vehicles before use.
• Be familiar with the emergency response plan and location of first aid, firefighting equipment.
• Attend related safety meetings.

Authorities:

• Reject defective Raw material.
• Suspend production when in doubt of any parameter or condition.

Education & Experience:

A) Education & Experience Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is acquired through a primary school diploma or equivalent.
