Make an impact in the role of Business Development & Account Based Marketing Manager – Vancouver & BC Advisory where you will help generate and qualify leads, nurture relationships, and support key account planning to drive engagement and revenue opportunities. Acting as a bridge between marketing, client service teams, and Partners, this role ensures seamless coordination and a strong BD culture across Vancouver & BC Advisory.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Western Canada this role is role is designed to accelerate MNP’s growth by combining proactive inside sales & marketing activities with strategic business development responsibilities.
Strategic Account Development
- Support Regional Managing Partners (RMPs) for Vancouver and BC Advisory in developing priority account lists (clients and prospects).
- Assist Client Service Teams in creating and managing annual account plans for key accounts.
- Conduct ongoing needs analysis across functional and divisional levels to identify opportunities for service enhancements or upgrades.
- Assist Engagement Partners in the negotiation of revenue opportunities for service-related elements.
- Work with Partners to develop new contacts within accounts to ensure growth and leverage business opportunities.
Relationship Management & Engagement
- Consults with Client Service Team on services to identify opportunities, enhancements or upgrades.
- Provide relationship support on key accounts with a focus on solution delivery and engagement identification.
- Create and manage client development programmes that strengthen relationships and drive retention and growth.
- Leverage client data to identify opportunities for client expansion.
BD Culture & Enablement
- Support activation and change management initiatives to embed a BD culture in Vancouver and across BC Advisory.
- Track and analyse won and lost BD opportunities, identify patterns, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Leverage existing functionality in MNP’s CRM systems to track opportunities and pipeline effectively.
Demand Generation & Qualification
- Support partners on targeted outreach to clients identified for cross selling or expansion opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads and work with Partners Admins to schedule appointments for Partners and service teams.
- Follow up on event attendees, webinar participants, and referrals to convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and pipeline activity in MNP’s CRM systems.
Ideal Profile
- A driven, communicative individual with strong organisational skills and experience inside sales, account management, or business development.
- Familiarity with professional services and consultative selling approaches is a plus.
- Ability to balance proactive outreach with strategic planning and relationship management.
- Skilled in CRM tools, data analysis, and pipeline management.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with Partners, marketing teams, and client service professionals.
Recommended Experience And Skills
Experience:
- 3–5 years in inside sales, business development, or account management roles (professional services experience preferred).
- Proven track record of lead generation, qualification, and conversion to revenue.
- Experience supporting strategic account planning and managing complex client relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) and marketing automation tools.
- Exposure to consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and internal collaboration.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset for market research, pipeline tracking, and opportunity analysis.
- Negotiation and influencing skills to support revenue growth and client retention.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Ability to coach and mentor others on BD best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $102,000. Compensation is determined based on individual skills and relevant experience.
