About Us

Resolve and VML we believe data, creativity and technology work best when they work together. Our mission is to shape the next era of media — one that’s smarter, more connected, and powered by insight. We’re part of a global network that values openness, collaboration and bold ideas. Here, you’ll have the chance to make an impact and grow your career and skill set with some of the best minds in the industry.

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Data & Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Open Intelligence data initiative as we build out an enterprise-grade production system. You’ll play a crucial supporting role in enabling WPP Media to leverage its data assets for growing its business globally. This hybrid role will expose you to both the intricacies of data pipelines and the robust infrastructure of cloud platforms.

It requires a strong desire to learn, attention to detail, and good communication skills. You will have the opportunity to learn about brand, adtech, and marketing data, as well as the enterprise context. You will contribute to keeping our global media ecosystem diverse and running, ensuring that data is correct and available, and that our cloud environment is stable and optimized.

This is a hands-on technical role for an individual eager to learn and grow, assisting in both long-term improvements and immediate operational tasks. You will learn from and collaborate with experienced engineers across the globe, and contribute to transparent communication with our product division.

The role is a remote role centred in Poland.

What You’Ll Do

  • Learn to deploy, monitor, and assist in the maintenance of custom services, data stores, and data extraction pipelines.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving basic issues within our data processing workflows and cloud infrastructure on GCP.
  • Support the development and improvement of monitoring and reporting systems for data consistency and platform health.
  • Work alongside more senior engineers to identify and address minor technical debt and inefficiencies, focusing on operational improvements.
  • Assist in documenting processes and best practices for both data operations and cloud deployments.
  • Gain hands-on experience with technologies like Scala, Python, and SQL within the GCP environment.

What You’Ll Bring

  • A strong passion for technology and a genuine eagerness to learn about both data engineering and cloud operations.
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable foundational knowledge through personal projects or coursework.
  • Basic programming skills, ideally in Scala or Python, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
  • An understanding of core cloud concepts (GCP experience is a bonus, but not required).
  • Familiarity with version control using git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a desire to contribute to a global team.

What We Offer

We believe great work starts with great people. What we offer is:

  • A supportive, inclusive culture built on trust, ambition and collaboration.
  • Access to world class learning and development opportunities across the WPP network.
  • Competitive salary, benefits and a focus on wellbeing.
  • The chance to make a real impact shaping how data powers the next generation of media.

#Li-Hybrid

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
