Our Software Engineering Team is responsible for the Salesforce Sales, Agent Console & Field Management Applications for GFiber. This role will provide the strategic and technical leadership necessary to maximize the platform's potential, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and performs optimally to meet the demands of rapid business growth. The role is critical in driving operational excellence and digital transformation across the organization.
Role Description
The Salesforce Application Engineering Manager is a hands-on leader who bridges technical architecture with people management. You will be responsible for the technical direction, development, and delivery of our enterprise Salesforce platform. This involves fostering a high-performing and collaborative engineering environment, mentoring team members, and driving the adoption of modern software development best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions that align with the long-term business roadmap.
In This Role, You'Ll:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Salesforce Developers and Engineers, focusing on career development, technical growth, and day-to-day delivery execution.
- Drive the architectural vision and technical roadmap for the Salesforce platform (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and its integrated applications, prioritizing scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Management, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business needs into prioritized, scalable technical solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex programmatic Salesforce solutions and integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Billing).
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in Salesforce development or architecture, with at least 3 years in a formal leadership or people management role.
- Experience in managing and building fast changing web apps, and managing high volume, real time APIs with high traffic.
- Experience in the Salesforce platform with project management acumen, including the ability to accurately estimate scope, deconstruct complex problems into manageable deliverables, and adapt effectively to evolving requirements.
It'S Preferred If You Have:
- 10 years of experience in software development or architecture, with exposure to CRM and GTM applications.
- 5 years of people management experience within a highly cross-functional and fast paced organization.
- Ability to multi-task, and can quickly switch context and be able to work on multiple projects.
- Experience providing thought leadership in technologies and system architecture and driving innovation in an ecosystem of 1P (GKE, Apigee, etc) and 3P (Salesforce, Zuora, etc) technology environments.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $219,200 - $241,100 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
