- How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supporting the Manufacturing Production Team to execute our S>>Q>D>I>C vision. Safety, above all, Qualityis greater than delivery, which is more important than inventory and cost.
- Lead process optimization and equipment layout improvements to increase assembly, testing, and shippingefficiency.
- Develop manufacturing procedures, standard work, and tooling concepts, focusing on repeatability, costreduction, and throughput.
- Identify and resolve manufacturing and testing bottlenecks, working cross-functionally with designengineering, Quality, and production teams.
- Monitor key production metrics (OEE, quality, cycle time) and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Support root cause analysis, failure investigations, and continuous improvement projects using Lean, SixSigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Develop and maintain training materials and work instructions for technicians and operators.
- Drive process standardization across product lines to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
- Lead and participate in process improvement and Kaizen activities.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Your Background
- A Bachelor's Degree (preferably a Master's) in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a relatedfield is required.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, industrial engineering, or production processoptimization.
- Strong understanding of process flow, equipment layout design, work standardization, and manufacturingefficiency
- Experience working in high-mix, low-volume, or engineered-to-order environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles; at least a green beltcertification preferred
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
