This is what your assignment looks like 
You will focus on delivering new and improving existing data solutions for various teams within Basic-Fit. Next to helping operations make better business decisions, we leverage data to be more effective and relevant in our member interactions. To support these challenges from the business, you will work side-by-side with them to explore our data and come up with new data solutions. You will be managing the entire lifecycle of the solution from ideation, proof of concept, and rollout to post-launch performance tracking.  

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and implement predictive models within the analytics environment; 
• Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to deliver the best solutions that will bring value to the business; 
• You will be communicating and presenting the data to the various stakeholders in a way that will support better decision making; 
• Increase data literacy and demystifying Data Science; 
• Build dashboards and reports to communicate your findings;  

We Ask:

An analytical thinker with the capacity to digest complex information, distinguish the signal from the noise, spot trends and insights, and translate this all into concrete actions. A self-starter with strong team- and proven problem-solving skills. 

• Bachelor/Master degree (Mathematics/Computer Science/Econometrics); 
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience in data science; 
• Strong knowledge in ML algorithms, frameworks and packages; 
• Experience using Python, R and Big Data related tools (Apache Spark, Scala, Data Bricks) 
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BI stack (SQL, Spark SQL); 
• Statistics knowledge; hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions, etc. 
• Excellent communication skills; 
• Fluency in English, spoken and written, second language Dutch or French is preferred.
