As a Lead Lean Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a vital player for Subsea Production & Services related manufacturing, production, and on-site support. You will work with a global team on improvement initiatives. Your role is instrumental in helping us to deliver energy to people around the world.
As a Lead Lean Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Provide technical guidance across the product life cycle, supporting manufacturing activities (including resolution to non-conformance reports), quality, and product readiness from bid to execution phases.
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, leading strategic initiatives to enhance process capability, safety, fulfillment, productivity, and quality in collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
- Partner with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams to drive product developments, technical analysis, and risk assessments.
- Oversee assembly-related functions, ensuring smooth integration into manufacturing operations and compliance with HSE, quality, cost, and on-time delivery (OTD) targets.
- Improve pressure testing processes and procedures to ensure alignment with internal standards and policies.
- Produce working routes to the workshop as per internal practices.
- Guide and mentor junior manufacturing engineers, fostering knowledge transfer and technical growth.
- Lead the Lean Journey initiative aiming process improvements across the Brittmoore facility.
- Develop standard work, process documentation, and visual management systems to drive operational efficiency and consistency.
- Coach cross-functional teams on Lean principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Fuel Your Passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical preferred).
- Demonstrate substantial experience (at least 10 years) in manufacturing engineering tasks and environment.
- Have good communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear, concise manner.
- Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment.
- Be an experienced problem solver with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Having Oil & Gas background is a plus.
