Key Performance Areas

As a Mining Sales Director, you will:

  • Ensure attainment of assigned geography’s budgeted sales value, volume, and profitability.
  • Cascade organizational goals into clear sales objectives for your team.
  • Lead and coach First Line Account Managers to achieve consistent and sustainable performance.
  • Manage multiple people and departments across locations to deliver results.
  • Work with senior management and Business Line Managers to establish forecasts, budgets, and strategic targets.
  • Review and monitor sales performance, adjusting sales strategies to meet changing market conditions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across key accounts and prospects.
  • Ensure effective end-user and customer management to drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain financial discipline and administrative oversight within the assigned territory.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ year of sales management or business development experience with demonstrated results in the mining segment.
  • Proven success leading teams and managing performance across multiple locations.
  • Strong experience with mineral processing equipment for mining segment (preferably crushing and screening equipment).
  • Strong knowledge and network of the mining industry in North America
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
