Core Responsibilities

As Senior Master Data Analyst, you get to work with a great team of very dedicated people focusing on delivering correct data at the right time.

Multi-functional collaboration is essential to understand needed deliveries; hence the role provides great networking opportunities between different departments globally. Being part of the team, you will gain a deep understanding of the product lifecycle process from development to production and phase out.

Our ambitious business plans call for Master Data involvement in many initiatives, e.g. related to sustainability, capacity expansions and digital transformation of our ERP- and PLM systems. Depending on your competencies, you will be involved in one or various business initiatives ensuring continuity and development of the Master Data agenda. All in all, to maintain high data quality as a prerequisite for stable planning processes.

More Specifically, You Will Be:

  • Providing fundamental data support to Supply Chain and Planning within LEGO Operations. 
  • Involved in optimization of the way we work to enable the team for daily operation with high quality and speed 
  • Collaborating proactively with internal partners handling associated and supporting task to the master data processes, especially Product Development, Engineering and Planning 
  • Contributing actively to Supply Chain relevant projects and initiatives  
  • Supporting Manager Specialists when handling process- and system development by test, guidance, sparring etc.  

Moreover, you will contribute with our core operational Master Data agenda, where you will take care of specific tasks within:  

  • Various Master Data areas such as Bill of Material creation and maintenance, Work Center, Routing and Production versions of core line components and products 
  • Engineering Change Orders to secure changes on Bill of Materials are completed right and timely 
  • Data creation and maintenance used for planning our production capacity 
  • Handle data of material movements between production sites to support planning requests and load levelling 
  • Complete reports for data-validation to enable data governance and high quality

You will join the Supply Chain Foundation, consisting of 20+ dedicated employees located in Billund. We connect Product Development and Operations by providing the data foundation needed to plan and manufacture our product portfolio across the globe.

Data quality is our top priority! Through involvement in the projects you will play an important role to secure that our specialist knowledge on master data processes and systems are applied in new initiatives – balancing the customers needs with our obligation to safeguard data structure and simplicity.

Do you have what it takes?

To succeed in this role, you bring your strong collaboration skills and proven experience within master data, supply chain, logistics, quality, production or planning. You are a responsible team-player, however with an ability to lead indirectly and informally. In addition, you have

  • Experience from similar role in a Production company
  • High experience with ERP systems preferable SAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs especially Excel is a requirement
  • A problem solving approach; supporting colleagues and developing high efficient ways of working
  • Focus on continuously increasing functional expertise and end2end-perspective
  • A curious mind that can see beyond constraints and are not afraid to challenge processes
  • Structured and analytical way of working – being data-driven and able to drive KPI’s to strive for a higher data quality
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
