About Us
Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We’re passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so.
Out of necessity, our engine is built for extreme scale and powers over 1 billion queries every day across 150 languages and with customers across many countries. It is used by some of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco.

Recruiting At Constructor
Constructor has grown headcount over 180% in the last two and a half years with a lean team: a small recruiting team and the support of our hiring managers. We’re excited to continue growing the entire company and to be able to bring on a Technical Recruiter that will focus on roles across our Engineering and or Product team. These teams are distributed across North America, APAC, LATAM, and EMEA. Given the technical nature of our product, experience recruiting for technical roles is strongly preferred. We're looking for someone excited to partner closely with hiring managers and help us scale intentionally and effectively across regions.
Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for highly technical engineering and product roles, from sourcing through to offer and close
- Source and engage top-tier engineering and product talent across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects Constructor’s values and culture
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role criteria and success profiles
- Provide weekly updates to hiring managers on pipeline progress, challenges, and key metrics
- Manage interview logistics and ensure smooth scheduling and debriefs across time zones
- Build pipelines for current and future hiring needs across technical and adjacent teams
- Assess candidates fit for technical capabilities, communication, and success in our fast-moving remote environment
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes, tools, and reporting
- Represent Constructor as a thoughtful and enthusiastic brand ambassador in every candidate interaction
Requirements
- Proven success hiring for technical roles such as backend, frontend, data/ML, and product management, and product design
- Proactive and self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- Flexible and responsive to candidate needs, including scheduling across global time zones
- Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments, ideally at growth-stage startups
- Strong track record of retaining hires and building trust with hiring teams
- Deep comfort using LinkedIn Recruiter and managing searches in an ATS
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, thoughtful, and clear when interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders
