Core Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling copy for ads, slogans, calls to action, marketing emails, and landing pages tailored to each brand's voice and target audience.
- Collaborate with SEO/SEM teams to integrate keywords into ad copy and landing pages without sacrificing creativity.
- Work with local language teams that ensure quality language translations, adapting copy as needed to maintain meaning and tone.
- Maintain and develop tone-of-voice guidelines to ensure consistent messaging.
- Balance creative innovation with branding consistency and rapid iteration for A/B testing.
Requirements:
- A portfolio showcasing versatility in writing styles (B2B, B2C, technical, conversational)
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Sulu) and collaboration tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Advertising, English or Literature, Marketing, Business, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Experience working in an agency is preferred.
- Familiarity with interpreting briefs, working with tight deadlines, and collaboration skills.
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience.
- Proven track record of success in crafting compelling copy for advertising or marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of marketing channels and formats is required (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, display ads, Google Ads, landing pages, etc.)
Competencies Required:
- English fluency: written and spoken. Additional languages are a bonus but not required.
- Cross-Brand Fluency: Adapt output to diverse brand personalities while identifying opportunities for shared creative efficiencies.
- Platform familiarity: able to develop to the requirements of each publishing platform (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, responsive web pages), ensuring optimal presentation of visuals and copy.
- Tools usage: Utilize company tools for collaboration, such as Confluence, Jira, Slack.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all outputs meet necessary standards (e.g., European Accessibility Act)
- Performance improvement mindset: we like to learn and experiment. Agency team will need to adapt ads and other deliverables according to performance data and feedback, such as conversion and engagement rate, customer feedback etc.
- Proactive communication: primary marketing stakeholders are in European or US Pacific time-zones, so an ability to interpret and clarify a brief is key to ensuring quality deliverables.
