Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with Kubernetes, focusing on large-scale systems development.
- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with the architecture, core services, and operation of major public cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Go coding.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Define the technical goals and roadmap for the air-gapped GDC platform to maximize user predictability and reliability.
- Lead architectural simplification efforts to eliminate systemic chaos and stabilize core infrastructure components.
- Design and implement critical, high-impact features for the core Kubernetes execution environment within stringent air-gapped constraints.
- Drive technical alignment and decision-making across partner teams to unblock GDC's ability to deploy successfully.
- Elevate engineering standards and mentor executive staff to ensure delivery of production-ready distributed systems.
