Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a Cadet Electrical Engineer to join our Development, Design & Construction team. You’ll be assisting the Engineering Services and Design teams in the planning, coordination, and delivery of building services across a diverse portfolio of leasing, capital, and development projects. The role provides hands-on exposure to design reviews, services coordination, technical assessments, and site verification activities from a client-side perspective.

You enjoy the hands-on element of site-based construction management, and your personal characteristics will include high levels of drive, motivation. You will have a proactive approach to problem solving, have solid communication skills and are able forge strong working relationships with internal and external teams.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an electrical engineering or building services environment.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and electrical services layouts.
- Exposure to design review or project coordination within the building or infrastructure sector is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree recognised by Engineers Australia) is desirable.
- Eligibility for Graduate Membership with Engineers Australia preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is desirable.
- Current driver’s licence is preferred (for site visits).
The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 plus super dependant on skills and experience.
