The Role
We are looking for a Production Engineer / Specialist to join our robotics team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, validating, and supporting robotic systems - from the lab to the field. This includes assembling and configuring robots, integrating radios and embedded platforms, and ensuring all systems are fully functional and field-ready. You will be a key player in both the production line and during hands-on deployments in real-world environments.
This position involves close collaboration with hardware, software, and testing teams to ensure quality and reliability across all units - whether for internal testing, demos, or customer deployments.
To join our team, you should be excited to
- Prepare robotic platforms for both production and field deployment, including system setup, radio integration, and configuration of control units and embedded components
- Evaluate and improve processes by owning the production line of our cutting-edge software
- Flash firmware, apply system configurations, and verify the functionality of controllers, sensors, and actuators
- Support the calibration of sensors and motor systems to ensure accurate performance
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot radio communication stacks and wireless connectivity (e.g., mesh networks)
- Assemble and functionally validate robots for internal use, field tests, pilot projects, and final delivery
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve integration issues at the hardware/software interface
- Document setup procedures, configuration standards, and maintenance protocols to support scalable production
- Help streamline and standardize production and deployment workflows for consistency and efficiency
- Ensure each unit meets internal quality and reliability standards before field use or customer delivery
Your Profile
- Practical experience assembling and configuring robotic or embedded systems in production or real-world environments
- Solid understanding of wireless communication (e.g., radios, mesh networks) and protocols like CAN, Ethernet, and serial interfaces
- Comfortable working with Linux systems, flashing firmware, and using basic scripting tools (e.g., Bash or Python)
- Experience with end-to-end system validation: from connectivity checks to sensor feedback and motor control testing
- Strong problem-solving skills across hardware and software layers
- Methodical, hands-on mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in field conditions
- Experience supporting field operations, pilots, or live demos is highly valued
- Knowledge of ROS2 and C++ is a plus
- Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Benefits And Perks
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- A shaping role in an emerging dual use company
- Opportunity to work with a highly innovative, international, and dynamic team
- Room for professional growth and development
- Participation in the company's success, with access to regular events, knowledge exchange and meetups
