Role Overview: Technical Support Specialist

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in fulfilling our Service Agreements for our delivered fleet of batteries, which currently totals over 80MWh in capacity. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of these battery systems through effective monitoring and proactive intervention. Some tasks will require on-site presence. This position is crucial to maintaining long-term service relationships and achieving operational excellence.

You will join a small, motivated team that values a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Support will also be available from our development team and the technical teams of our battery suppliers, who have extensive knowledge of the systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the status of the battery fleet covered by Service Agreements.
  • Proactively address any anomalies to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Respond quickly to alarms from monitored batteries, either by resolving issues remotely or dispatching an on-site technician. This may involve technicians from Capture Energy, the battery supplier, or our network of local service providers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by sharing operational experiences and ideas with our development team or suppliers.

Qualifications And Skills

Essential

  • Technical background through education or experience, with a strong curiosity for technical subjects.
  • Experience as a network technician or with the maintenance of industrial control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a Nordic language or Spanish is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Desirable

  • Understanding of network technology and Modbus is beneficial.
  • Experience with hands-on service work.
  • Familiarity with the energy sector and with electrical installations.
