Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Senior Email Marketing Specialist will work with property and departmental leadership in the development and execution of all email marketing programs. This position will be responsible for coordinating and/or developing all necessary items to deploy an email campaign and be responsible for the optimization and measurement of their overall success.
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 5:30pm, 100% on-site
Primary Tasks:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate email development projects including content, graphic design, web, social, segmentation and analytics
- Manage email marketing and messaging content calendar; coordinate and prioritize marketing activities across multiple concurrent campaigns
- Develop and execute email marketing and messaging strategies
- Build, optimize, and measure the performance of email marketing campaigns
- Ensure email marketing automation programs are consistent with brand standards and in line with industry best practices
- Monitor and maintain an excellent IP reputation
- Participate in the campaign QA process, including proofreading, email rendering, and audience validation
- Perform duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree and one [1] year experience in working with email campaigns, OR [3] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform data entry assignments, complete forms, documents, and written reports, analyze data and make sound recommendations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, possesses integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling confidential information
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop preferred
