Contract
The Paralegal will assist all members of the legal team. Specifically, the Paralegal will:
- Undertake legal research.
- Draft emails and other forms of correspondence, under instruction from and supervision by the responsible member of the legal team.
- Draft and review simple contracts (e.g. non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Run effective contract management and legal administration processes. Proactively assist with contract approvals, execution, and document management.
- Liaise with colleagues across a range of departments within the business.
- Assist with company secretarial duties, including officer appointments and preparing board resolutions.
- Maintain company records, including directorship database and contract database.
- Assist with legal operations, involving updating and creating training materials, as well as assisting with internal legal processes.
- Assist with data privacy and other regulatory matters, as well as ad hoc queries.
Person Specification:ESSENTIAL:
1.Law degree/Juris Doctorate or equivalent from an accredited law school (CPE acceptable).
2.Graduated Lpc
3.Strong organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
4.The ability to prioritize effectively.
5.The ability to complete all tasks rigorously and on time without being prompted.
6.Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
7.Strong research and writing skills.
8.The ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
9.An ability and willingness to learn on the job.
10.A strong understanding of business ethics and the need to preserve confidentiality.
11.A working knowledge of Windows operating systems and a proficiency in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
12.A keen sense of teamwork; and
13.A Can-Do Attitude.
