Job Responsibilities And Duties:
- Conduct outgoing notification calls and emails to customers on order changes as needed to provide the best possible customer service.
- Perform investigative work involving order shortages, changes, and back-ordered plant material to service customers at the highest level.
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all customers, sales reps, colleagues and supporting personnel to maintain an excellent standard of communication.
- Gather information and enter claims to resolve customer issues and to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers via public email folders to help meet the needs of customers and internal employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Perform a variety of customer service-related tasks and special projects to support the customer and team to offer the best service to both internal and external customers.
- Back up other Customer Relations team members as needed.
- Participate in department trainings and meetings.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of customer service experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience with SAP system is preferred.
- PC knowledge to include strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team.
- Ability to understand complex business processes, roles, responsibilities and dependencies within the business process.
- Communicate Effectively: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborates: Ability to work in a manner that exhibits trust and integrity with colleagues, customers and sales representatives.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to handle customer related issues which involves researching, investigating, determining appropriate resolution and follow-through in action and communication to multiple parties.
- Optimizes Work Processes: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
- Must be able to work for full time hours if needed to meet the needs of the business (January – April)
Pay Range: $20 - 22/hour
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit/stand up to 100% of the day
- Ability to use hands/fingers up to 100% of the day
