This position is hybrid with Mondays and Wednesdays in-office.
Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager is tasked with managing multiple IT projects of varying size, focus and technology, utilizing the agile scrum methodology to deliver software on time and within budget while managing teams of software development and infrastructure personnel. In addition, the Project Manager serves as the ScrumMaster for the application development team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as ScrumMaster on the application development team, facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, demos and retros
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, managing all aspects of the initiatives.
- Utilize project management tools (i.e. work plan, issues log, meeting minutes) as appropriate for the size and type of project.
- Manage deployments and implementations (particularly for large project rollouts where there are many tasks to accomplish in a short period of time) to keep tasks on timeline for delivery.
- Communicate project statuses, issues, and solution approaches to all levels of management.
- Facilitate Business Analysts’ work with business users to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and users’ needs to ensure all business requirements have been met, documenting findings, and communicating appropriately; review and ensure completeness of deliverables.
- Communicate application/business knowledge to other members of IT.
- Participate in and support all software development lifecycle activities, including development, testing, implementation, and rollout.
- Participate in an agile team, collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers and Testers.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management or related major or equivalent industry experience in a similar role
- PMP certification and active certification is required.
- 3+ years’ experience in IT working with project management methodologies managing strategic initiatives.
- Proven track record of success in planning, prioritizing, estimating, and delivering projects and work efforts on time, within budget and with appropriate scope.
- Previous experience with the agile software development process and JIRA is a plus.
- Previous experience working in the commercial lending industry is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, move about an office environment
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
