The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel Manufacturing is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team based in O’Sullivan Beach. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

In this hands-on role, you will be leading and providing guidance to a team of around 15 production and packing team members at our O’Sullivan Beach site, manufacturing our world class products and solutions for our valued customers.

Work a rotating shift of day and afternoon Monday-Friday, working a 9 day fortnight. Enjoy an attractive salary package and participation in our annual profit share program (bonus). What Will You Do?

With a strong focus on teamwork, you will be:

• leading and supervising our operations area including machine operations
• supporting and assisting your team with daily operations
• identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
• ensuring safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
• growing and mentoring your team to develop their technical capability

• a demonstrated ability in motivating and building high performing teams
• experience working within an operations, warehousing or logistics environment
