Overview

Summary Of Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of information for inventory control system.
  • Prepares and provides routine reports to supervision regarding inventory.
  • Coordinates office functions with supervisors, workers, and other departments.
  • Provides clerical support to supervisory personnel. Types/prints memos, builds spread sheets, files documents, answers phones, communicates messages, maintains confidential information and performs purchase orders.
  • Work with PKMS, inputs scheduled orders into PKMS, and inputs the next shift into PKMS and ensures accurateness of orders.
  • Communicates with management about issues.
  • Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervision.

Experience:

  • Must have 1 year experience performing basic computer operations with spreadsheets, word processing or other programs. 
  • 1 year experience in clerical role or related field preferred.
  • 1 year experience in customer service and transportation is desirable.
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment desirable.

Qualifications

  • Cognitive & Psychological
  • Must have high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must posses an understanding of computer processing fundamentals and be computer proficient.
  • Must have basic mathematical reasoning ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).
  • Physical
  • Must be able to work in cold or hot environment
  • Other
  • Must be willing to work extended hours as needed (including weekends and holidays).
