Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential selection making), ML infrastructure, or in a related Machine Learning (ML) field.
- 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), or Generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Experience with building data processing pipelines with tools like Kafka, Apache Beam (e.g., Dataflow) or Spark.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., BigQuery, Google Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with time-series data and financial market data feeds.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy core components of the financial AI platform, including the orchestration engine, investigative tools, and data processing pipelines.
- Build microservices for financial workflows, such as historical backtesting, Monte Carlo simulations, and advanced risk calculations (e.g., Value at Risk (VaR), Sharpe Ratio).
- Collaborate with Google's research teams to integrate and optimize forecasting and time-series analysis models for financial use cases.
- Develop an intelligent orchestration layer using Google's latest models to interpret natural language queries and chain together the sequence of financial tools and data sources.
- Engineer data pipelines for ingesting and transforming data, including real-time market feeds, alternative data (e.g., news sentiment), and client's datasets.
