Marketing Executive – Ebury (Self Hub)

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive for our Self Hub, to work on audience-first idea generation and delivering impactful book marketing campaigns that drive sales.
Ebury’s unique hub model blends editorial, publicity and marketing, and feeds on idea generation and collaboration across every area of the team. We invest in and value our creative and open culture. This role will sit in our Self Hub, with a focus on bringing readers unrivalled expertise and life-changing solutions across personal development, health, wellbeing, parenting and spirituality. We publish books that inform, empower and spark new directions from an incredible list of inspirational authors including Gabor Maté, Brené Brown, Yung Pueblo, Fearne Cotton and Tara Swart.
The Team
Ebury is the UK’s largest dedicated non-fiction publisher and winner of Publisher of the Year at the 2024 British Book Awards. We are home to bestselling authors ranging from Yotam Ottolenghi to Molly-Mae Hague, Gabor Maté to Charlie Mackesy. We are a dynamic and agile team, constantly discovering new talent, creating bestsellers, and growing author brands.
The Role
Reporting into the Campaigns Director, you will devise and implement your own marketing campaigns for a range of books throughout the year, tailoring your approach depending on each audience with engaging and joined-up marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brief and coordinate the creation of marketing assets.
- Develop and manage social media content plans.
- Meet with authors and agents to support campaign planning and execution.
- Write engaging copy for a range of marketing channels.
- Run and optimise digital advertising campaigns.
- Contribute ideas and creative input during team and campaign meetings.
- Support the wider marketing team on larger-scale campaigns.
- Keep up to date with new trends, talent, and cultural moments relevant to our publishing areas.
- Participate in internal meetings and author pitches.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including publicity, production, editorial, sales, and rights.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, online communities, and brand partners.

Salary
Circa £32,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
